A graduate of  photography and broadcasting from the University of Provence ( Marseilles , France ), 
Jean-Noel Lanthiez attended the master's classes of Serge Gal, Yann Le Goff, Lucien Clergue
and Willy Ronis.

Having developed a picture library business and a video library service for TV and Web Media, 
he  has worked in recent years as an independant photographer focusing on illustration and portraiture .
